Medal Presentation Evening When: Friday 26th August Where: Airdrie FC, Excelsior Stadium Starts: 7.00 pm Tickets: £ 6.00 for everyone including DanceFuzion pupils Pupils will be presented with their medals and/or trophies & certificates from the recent medal test/exam day. There will also be a presentation for the following: Junior dancer of the Year Inter Dancer of the Year Pre-Senior Dancer of the Year Senior Dancer of the Year Overall Dancer of the Year Exam Dancer of the Year Star Pupil of the Year After the presentation there will be a short performance from each class. Where: Castlemilk Time: 9am approx. Tickets: £7.00 approx. (entrance fee for competitors and spectators) This competition is for any pupil who attends the Disco Class. There will be solo disco, solo slow dance and pairs disco. More details will follow.

Where: Braehead Arena Entry Fee: £17.00 per cheerleader I am hoping to take our cheerleading squads along to this competition. There will be Cheer and Dance Divisions.

Children 1st Charity (RSPCC) Raffle
I am pleased to tell you that we raised £200 for the charity at the 2006 Christmas Party. Thank you for all the donations and everyone who bought raffle tickets. A cheque has been sent to the charity and I will display our certificate when i receive it.

Christmas Light Switch On

Pupils Arrive: 2.30pm Approx Time Dancing: 2.55pm
The school has for the 2nd year running been invited to dance at the Christmas Light Switch On in Coatbridge. All pupils are required to have the DanceFuzion Tracksuit (4yrs-8yrs pupils) or the DanceFuzion Black Velour Top (9-16yrs+ pupils).

BATD Disco Freestyle Teachers Exam

On Friday 15th July I sat the above teachers exam with the BATD (British Association of Teachers of Dancing). The exam lasted approx. 2 hours and at the end the examiner told me I had passed but said she was not allowed to give me my official result. So for 2 weeks I have been waiting for the postman and finally today Friday 29th July I got them. I am so chuffed and wanted to share it with you all. I got 96 out of 100 Highly Commended!!!
